Sarah Burke is a Consultant in our global Energy practice, bringing sector expertise built over a career entirely dedicated to the energy industry.
She began her career as a Wireline Field Engineer with Schlumberger (now SLB) in Alberta, Canada, following the completion of her Geology degree at the University of Edinburgh. Sarah transitioned into executive search, focusing on the Oil & Gas sector, spending four years with a leading UK-headquartered firm in its dedicated Oil & Gas practice, based in Aberdeen.
Her career then evolved into in-house talent acquisition and HR business partnering roles. She spent eight years with global energy major Eni, where she led resourcing for the Mozambique LNG project and partnered with the Trading & Shipping division on operational HR initiatives. Sarah also spent two years with international EPC contractor CB&I, where she played a key role in establishing the European arm of its global Talent Acquisition function. More recently Sarah returned to executive search, supporting clients internationally across Oil & Gas, Renewables and energy transition.
